As ordained Pastor of 40 years, Doug has become most passionate about having conversations with others that lead to growth and equipping others to have conversations that grow. Doug hopes to ignite this passion for productive conversations with others and has written a book entitled “Conversations that Grow.” Doug has special training in both communication and conflict resolution and is a certified Christian conciliator through the Institute of Christian Conciliators (ICC).  He is also a certified professional coach through New Vibe Training. He has his bachelor's in Bible and preaching through Puget Sound Christian College and his masters in theology and Philosophy through Lincoln Christian Seminary. He has been married 41 years to his best friend, Lisa, and they have two grown boys with families of their own. He currently pastors at Valley Christian Church in Wilsonville, OR, and has a coaching practice called “Conversations that Grow.”
