Leadership Series

Teambuilding & Communication (2 Hours) 
This educational segment is designed for supervisors to develop knowledge and strategies of developing of a positive team culture. Mastery of communication skills are the integral components of team development and communication effectiveness significantly adds to outcome-based productivity.

 

Conflict Resolution / Anger and Violence in the Workplace (2 Hours) 
This educational segment is designed to bring supervisors into focus on developing awareness and learning practical processes/skills for resolving conflicts. We will also address the topic of violence in the workplace – an increasingly frequent problem. Participants will advance their abilities to address conflict and/or violence more comfortably, effectively and efficiently.

 

Awareness of Cultural Diversity and Sexual Harassment (2 Hours) 
This educational segment is designed to bring supervisors into a greater working knowledge of diversity and the prevention of harassment of all types. Acknowledgement and understanding of the value of cultural diversity is essential to a thriving workplace. This component generates greater awareness of cultural influences and the many forms of diversity as well as positive steps to take on harassment issues.

 

Emotional Intelligence in the Workplace (2 Hours) 
This educational segment is designed to bring supervisors into a higher level of Emotional Intelligence. Intellectual intelligence helps you get a job; emotional intelligence helps you keep the job and work in harmony. This course covers the basic theory of Emotional Intelligence, including the 5 components of a high-performance work environment, and informative self-assessments.

 

Who Moved My Cheese (2 Hours) 
This educational segment is designed to bring forth awareness of managing change and the effects on transitions in the workplace. Students will enhance their knowledge of what change is, how to cope with change, how it affects morale and productivity, and how to gain from change.

 

Leader as Coach (2 Hours) 
This educational segment is designed for supervisors to enhance their leadership skills using a coaching approach in working with staff members. This session is focused on the CliftonStrengths Assessment (www.gallupstrengthscenter.com) In addition, adapting to a basic coaching format and instructions on leadership styles and strategies.
